The teaching language of the Ph.D. Program of Civil Engineering Department at Hacettepe University is English.

Students have to complete 240 ECTS, which is composed of must and elective courses, in order to receive the doctorate degree.

Admission Requirements for Ph.D. Program:

• To have both a four-year undergraduate degree and a master of science degree from Civil Engineering Departments of Domestic Universities or foreign universities with equivalence by Council of Higher Education (YOK),
• To have a minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00,
• To have a minimum score of 70 from Foreign Language Exam (YDS) or a minimum score of 70 from YOKDIL exam or a minimum score of 84 from TOEFL IBT,
• To have a minimum score of 60 from ALES or a minimum score of 151 from GRE exam or a minimum score of 468 from GMAT.
