Hacettepe University Civil Engineering Department was established in 1992 by the Board of Higher Education dated 27.04.1993 and numbered 1467 article. At the meeting of Faculty of Engineering Board of Directors held on 04.02.2014, the undergraduate program was approved and the language of education was determined to be English and it was decided to make the application to Board of Higher Education for admitting students in the 2014-2015 academic year.

As the Department of Civil Engineering, we are glad to fulfill the important task of educating qualified engineers that have ethical values, have acquired the principle of continuous learning and be open to innovative ideas by admitting our first undergraduate students in the 2014-2015 academic year.
