Within the scope of Law No. 1416 on Students to Be Sent Abroad, scholarship students are sent abroad at the postgraduate level in return for compulsory service in order to meet the qualified human resource needs of higher education institutions in terms of academic staff, as well as those of public institutions and organizations. In this regard, in 2025, a total of 811 students will be sent abroad by our Ministry to pursue their studies under official scholarship status.
Candidates will submit their applications up to 9 October 2026 through the Ministry’s Official Scholarship Student System (REBUS) (https://rebus.meb.gov.tr).
